Arcata Housing Needs Continue
At the end of 2021, the City of Arcata had built 149 of the 610 housing units required by the state to be built by 2027. While the City has completed 59.2% of the units in the very-low income category, the City is behind in the other categories. At the end of 2021, only 13.7% low-income, 17.1% moderate-income, 12.6% above-moderate income units had been built.
